Due to inclement weather concerns, school will operate on a two-hour delay for students on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

The mission of Blue Ridge Elementary is to provide a safe, respectful environment where children and learning come first.

Meet some of our staff here at Blue ridge.
Hi, I am Robyn Barber.  This is my fourth year teaching, all in special education. I actually went to college for a Sports Management degree and just happened to fall into the teaching field.  I fell in love with the profession, the kids and the breaks of course! I love to eat, relax and have a good time with my family and friends.  During my time in school I became close with many of my teachers and they had a great impact on my life and I hope I can do the same for others.
My name is Tonya Massey.  Before coming to SDOC, I worked for the Oconee County Sheriff's Office for 11 1/2 years. My favorite part of Elementary School is Art. I love crafty things! I like to go hiking to waterfalls and kayaking.  I enjoy anything that deals with my family and my church family.  I don't like peas and homework.  I am a companion aide here at Blue Ridge. I grew up in Oconee County.  I went to Keowee Elementary School, Walhalla Middle and Walhalla High School.  I am married and have 4 wonderful children.
This is my 39th year teaching art and I still love it!  I am Connie Compton.  I lived and taught in Germany for 5 years and traveled the word.  I have one son who is studying in England this year.  I had a wonderful art teacher in high school who inspired me to be an art teacher.  I did not have art when I was in elementary school and I'm glad that I can share art with the Blue Ridge kiddos.  My husband and I live on a arm and I am the director of SCDogs Therapy Group.  I love to read, hike and create art!
