The mission of Blue Ridge Elementary is to provide a safe, respectful environment where children and learning come first.

Meet some of our staff here at Blue ridge.
Angela Bright. (Gigi) I got nickname Gigi from my foster son when he was 4 years old. I worked at Oconee Memorial Hospital for 19 years prior to come to BRE. My favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends and attending church.  I have been blessed to travel to Mexico and Los Vegas.  I am married to my best friend Barry for 22 years and I have two beautiful daughters who went through BRE.

Teresa Kuehn. I knew I wanted to be a teacher the day I stepped into first grade when I was six years old.  I taught Kindergarten for 15 years.  I eventually graduated to first grade and now I am a Reading Recovery teacher and Reading Interventionist.  I'm lucky because I get to "work" at what I love to do.  I have a great husband, a crazy dog, four grown up kids and two grandchildren.  In my spare time I love to....yep, you guessed it: read!

Lucy Lee, Interventionist and Lover of LIfe!  I met my husband while in high school.  I have two exceptional children and five super exceptional grandchildren.  I've learned that grandchildren must be the best thing since sliced bread!(that's an idiom in case you were wondering).  After continuing my education I became a teacher.  I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade as well as ESOL in 9th-12th grades.  I love to teach, read and run (or walk as I find myself doing more as I get older).  I dislike steamed okra.  I know that being a teacher is actually WHO I AM.
